Payment
& Shipping
Once we connect with you, we will verify your information, answer any remaining questions you may have, and then we will send your order to the pharmacy. The prescription medications come from a local independent pharmacy, and they will ship the entire package to you as soon as the order is completed. Your zippered storage bag and Emergency Medication Guide will be included with your order. There is no additional payment due to the pharmacy for your prescriptions, or for shipping.

Drug expiration dating
The average pharmacy gets stock bottles of medications from the manufacturer, marked with an expiration amounting to about 2 to 3 years of shelf life before they expire. This varies between medications and manufacturers. Thankfully, according to government funded research studies performed by the Department of Defense, many medications are found to retain their effectiveness for many years beyond their stated expiration date. This of course depends on proper storage, including being kept in an airtight, cool, dark, and dry place. This DoD research began in 1986 and in a 2006 study of those findings, it was found that out of 122 medications tested, nearly two-thirds remained effective for an additional 4 years past the stated expiration date. Surprisingly, there were even some medications that were found to retain effectiveness up to 10 years past the stated expiration date. Again, this varies between medications, and is dependent upon proper storage conditions.
